people are sheep modern social problems.
This might be a bold statement, but it’s more true than ever. The millennials are said to be the worst generation ever, but wait until you see generation X. The children raised by the millennials. It’s like the movie Idiocracy that was released in 2006. That was not just a movie, the movie was a warning to people to show the path we are going down.
We have access to almost anything we want as far as information, but it seems people are not using it. The average person wants to watch T.V. On average, American adults are watching five hours and four minutes of television per day. You can find the results to the average here. We are entering an age of fools, people know far less than we once knew. We are dumbing ourselves down to intricate levels. “With the ever-rising population of the earth that the average I.Q. will undoubtedly continue to fall. It seems that the way that we as humans evolved has now switched over to allow the people who can breed the most with each other are the most fit to survive. It has been studied that people with comparable I.Q. scores are more likely to produce with each other. Their offspring will of course have a similar I.Q. to their parents. So if the mom and dad had an I.Q. of 75 their kid is more likely to have a similar I.Q. to them. So its assumed that if the worlds population keeps increasing at the current rate that the average I.Q. by the year 2050 will be roughly 86.32 which is nearly a ten point drop from 1950”. From a Hartford study, You can read about the drop in IQ levels here.
The next question is how did we even get to this point? Do people just not care? Well, in my opinion it’s a mix of both of these combined. We are bum rushed with garbage T.V. like MTV and we see all the celebrities living life without a care in the world. Young teens see this and they resemble what they see. It’s like the “cash me outside girl. How do you even get famous on crap like that, it’s quite funny as to how far society has slid down. Ever since the birth of social media, because it gave everyone a voice. The obsessive bragging about how great ones life is, or how great their parent, or child is. I’m sure everyone thinks their child is a genius and the greatest gift to come to this Earth. The reality is, he or she probably isn’t going to be the next Einstein, nor is he or she going to be anything of greatness. It’s like as a child when every kid says he wants to be an astronaut, how many of those kids are now astronauts? Not very many, according to Reference As of September 2009, there is only 505 astronauts. So, now you know how unrealistic this dream is, and as the child grows up we know it’s unrealistic and very hard to become one. Unless of course you are a true genius, which again is rare. I don’t want to crush people’s dreams, but I think it’s very important that people should have realistic goals for themselves and their kids. We don’t live in a Disney fairy tale, I think that is one of the major problems with today. People believe in these falsified realities. Just like how everyone wants to be rich without having to work for it. Similarly; how everyone wants to have an epic 6 pack, but still wants to pound beers 3-4 times a week and eat at MacDonald’s 3 times a week. It’s simply not realistic without sacrifices. People shouldn’t fill others with false hopes. Yes, they are kids, but what happens when they realize their parents have been lying to them since birth. I don’t think it’s going to be a very pretty site. Every time I get on topics like this, I think of Morpheus from The Matrix, when he says “”You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” The term redpill refers to a human that is aware of the true nature of the Matrix.” Please like and share if you found the information in people are sheep modern social problems useful.
